DEALINE FOR NOMINATIONS FOR AWARDS

The Great Lakes Division 2007 Convention Committee reminds everyone
that the deadline for submitting nominations for Division awards close
Aug 17th at 5:00 p.m. EST. Three major awards are available.  These are
the George S. Wilson, III, W4OYI -- lifetime achievement -- Award, the
Amateur of the Year Award and the Technical Achievement Award.  These
awards are described and nominating forms are available at
http://www.2007gldc.org/awards/awards.htm.

Please help the Committee, Vice Director Johnston, KI4LA and me to
recognize amateurs who have devoted extraordinary effort to Amateur
Radio.

Internet Problems

A couple of weeks ago I changed Internet service Providers.  This
should have been a seamless changeover, but it wasn't.  As a result, my
access to the Internet as well as to e-mail was marginal for about two
days.

If you sent me a message and have not received a reply, one of two
things probably happened -- 1) Your message was lost during the
changeover period, or 2) Your system is set-up to reject personal
messages from me when I use my arrl.org "fake" ISP.

Please send me another message if you need.  If you request, I will
telephone you.
